Hotel & Other Features
AC Hotel: North Hills is expected to welcome our third hotel, which will be located in the Park District between the Bank of America Tower and The Dartmouth. Currently under construction, the hotel is slated to open in 2017. It will feature 135 rooms with sleek, European-inspired aesthetics. Currently AC Hotels, a Marriott brand, has about 100 locations in Europe, and is expanding the brand to the United States and Latin America.
The Overlook Stairs: Located between the CAPTRUST Tower and the Bank of America Tower, The Overlook Stairs is a tiered walkway through landscaping with benches and gathering areas. Renowned local artist, Thomas Sayre, designed this steel sculpture entrance. Sayre is also known for designing the Midtown Park amphitheater, the store signs at the North Hills location of lululemon, and the Shimmer Wall on the Raleigh Convention Center, among many other impressive works.
