Sweetgreen Joins the Culinary Expansion at North Hills

Sweetgreen, the mission-driven restaurant brand serving healthy food at scale, announces they have signed a lease with Kane Realty Corporation to open a location in Raleigh’s North Hills.

The 2,829 square foot space will be located in the Commons in North Hills at 4158 Main at North Hills Street.

“We’re eager to plant roots in Raleigh, a community we feel strongly connected to for our shared love of fresh, delicious food,” co-founder and CEO Jonathan Neman said. “There was so much great feedback from our recent announcement of Sweetgreen coming to North Carolina this summer, and we’re excited for even more guests to enjoy fan-favorite menu items like our signature Harvest Bowl and Miso Glazed Salmon protein plate at our new North Hills location.”

Founded in 2007, Sweetgreen passionately believes that real food should be convenient and accessible to everyone. Every day, across its over 200 restaurants, its team members create delicious seasonal meals from fresh ingredients and produce that prioritizes organic, regenerative, and local sourcing.

“We're thrilled to welcome Sweetgreen to North Hills,” said Stacey Buescher, Managing Director of Operations for Kane Realty Corporation. “Sweetgreen isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a movement towards eating well and living better that aligns perfectly with our values.”

Sweetgreen’s strong food ethos and investment in local communities have enabled it to grow into a national brand with a mission to build healthier communities by connecting people to real food. Additional details for the new Raleigh store will be announced in the coming months.
