School is "Out." North Hills is "In."

Although school might be closed, North Hills is anything but.

School is officially out for the summer, and you may be wondering how you and your kids will fill up your free time. To that we have three words: Visit North Hills. Our summer events schedule is packed with activities designed specifically for children and kid-friendly options the entire family can enjoy. Let’s dive right in to the choices, shall we?

North Hills is serving up some serious deliciousness this summer.

Have a budding chef or foodie under your roof? Then the cooking series hosted at the Flour Power Kids Cooking Studio this summer has their name written all over it. Throughout the summer, your kids can learn how to cook signature dishes from their favorite movies when they sign up for Movie Thyme, attend a culinary boot camp where they can finesse their cake decorating skills at Cake My Day, or eat their way across America at North, South, East, West, a week dedicated to making and eating dishes specific to a region. They can get a six-month jump on being the ultimate holiday hostess at Christmas in July or totally dominate at Iron Chef, a chance to show off their cooking prowess and ingredient imagination to their friends. The schedule of activities, classes, and camps continue into August, so be sure to check out all that is offered in the Flour Power Kids Cooking Studio Calendar of Events.Still hungry for more? Sur La Table is offering a Kids & Teens 5-Day Summer Cooking Series that will run from June through August. See what classes are offered and sign up throughout the summer. There’s also Date Night and Girls Night Out options for parents, because kids shouldn’t be the only ones who get to play with their food.

Sunny day = all-you-can-play.

Let’s be honest, in the dead of summer the heat can be ridiculous. Kings at North Hills offers an escape with their Sunny Day Savings offer. On any sunny day, each person can enjoy all-you-can-play bowling and table games for only $11.99 from opening until 9 p.m. (shoe rental and token games not included). Kings also has an inventive menu, so while you savor their roasted beet & farro salad, your kids can bowl strikes to their hearts’ content.

More temperature-controlled options.

Hot AND rainy? The entire family can find relief from the elements at Regal North Hills Stadium 14. This summer promises to be full of kid-approved blockbusters such as Cars 3, Despicable Me 3, The Emoji Movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Transformers: The Last Knight, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and Blazing Samurai. Movies not their thing? Schedule a Mom & Me manicure or pedicure at Midtown Nail Spa or Lee Spa Nails, where you can all get pampered. With all of these options, there is an activity for everyone at North Hills once school is out for the summer. Don’t forget there are tons of great restaurants, stores and boutiques, and scheduled outside events the entire family can enjoy throughout the summer and any time of the year.
