Primo Hoagies to Open in North Hills

As PrimoHoagies expands across the East Coast, Kane Realty is pleased to announce the company will open its first North Carolina location at the Park District in North Hills, with an anticipated grand opening later this year.

PrimoHoagies was born and “bread” in South Philadelphia – its first location opened there in 1992. Since then, it expanded to Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, and now to North and South Carolina, offering hungry customers freshly baked bread and locally sourced gourmet meats and cheese to create fresh-to-order, specialty sandwiches.

“The Kane Realty team is always looking for new restaurants to diversify the food offerings for our residents, visitors and tenants,” said John Kane, CEO of Kane Realty. “The addition of PrimoHoagies to the North Hills Park District will bring a new and unique dining option to our community – for those who stop in for a quick lunch or want to enjoy a picnic in Midtown Park. We’re excited to welcome PrimoHoagies to the North Hills family.”

Franchise owners Allison Engle and Amanda Wolsky are native Philadelphians with a passion for the gourmet sandwiches that PrimoHoagies offers, and they are looking forward to sharing this passion with the Raleigh community.“

After PrimoHoagies decided to expand to North Carolina, we began exploring possible areas for our first location,” said Engle and Wolsky. “We were drawn to North Hills because of its sense of community – it felt like a place that our brand would feel at home, and we’re looking forward to getting to know Raleigh and introduce its residents to PrimoHoagies.”

PrimoHoagies currently has 77 locations open throughout six states, with 35 locations scheduled to open within the next two years. It prides itself on providing the highest-quality ingredients, all prepared specifically for PrimoHoagies using recipes passed down through generations. The iconic hoagies, including the most popular Italian variety, also contain a secret blend of spices and locally sourced, fresh vegetables that deliver a memorable, made-to-order lunch or dinner experience. The casual restaurant’s menu features a wide variety of cold and hot hoagies, cheesesteaks, wraps, vegetarian options, sides, chips, drinks, cookies, desserts, and more. A wide array of catering options is also available for special events, holidays, gamedays, and corporate luncheons.
