Giorgios Hospitality Group to Open Two New Concepts in North Hills

Legendary restaurateur Giorgios Bakatsias of Giorgios Hospitality Group announces two new concepts for North Hills opening in 2022 – Las Ramblas and Giorgio Pizza Bar. GHG currently owns and operates ten concepts in the Triangle area, and has already announced East End Bistro’s opening in Raleigh’s new East End Market and Krill’s opening in Durham. Las Ramblas and Giorgio Pizza Bar will both be located in the Park & Market Building in North Hills near the wildly successful Rosewater Kitchen & Bar, which opened in 2019.

“North Hills diners have been very welcoming to us, and we have found a strong partner in John Kane and Kane Realty. We believe in their plans for North Hills, and are excited they’ve invited us to deliver more signature GHG concepts, and be part of their growth,” explained Bakatsias.

Las Ramblas – a Spanish tapas bar – is named for the famed “Las Ramblas” boulevard in Barcelona, Spain where the restaurants, cafes and markets contribute to one of Europe’s most vibrant and delicious destinations. Look for classic Spanish tapas with Old and New World influences complemented by Spanish wines and Sherry. Seating for 90 indoors and 30 outdoors will offer ample areas for guests to enjoy – from the bustling bar and open kitchen, to the festive dining room with windows open to the street.

Giorgio Pizza Bar – a pizzeria and bar – will serve signature crispy, thin crust sourdough pizzas, as well as a variety of other pizza styles, plus seasonal salads, and vegetable and pasta dishes slow cooked in earthen clay pots, alongside Italian wines and craft cocktails. Guests will enjoy the large bar with views of pizza being hand tossed – including 100 seats total indoors and 25 outdoors on the terrace garden.
