This week would have been our NC Soybean Producer’s Day, so we are focusing on farming today!
North Carolina has a long history of farming that has shaped a lot of our state industry today. From soybeans to sweet potatoes, NC has a wide range of farms that produce all types of necessities for our world today. Visit the North Carolina Museum of History to read about the different farm chores that had to be done during the 19th century!

The Food Shuttle Farm of Raleigh is a great way to get involved in the community and learn about farming! Volunteers are still welcome during COVID, and there are many different ways you and your family can help.
