Located in the meeting rooms at the AC Hotel and at Park Central Raleigh, Infinity Loop Series is a mixed media art installation by Charlotte Foust. The Infinity Series is a collection of bold black and white paintings on paper and canvas. These were created through a painting process of layering organic free form shapes – circles and ovals, with hard edge geometric angular shapes – squares and triangles.
As the shapes merge, intersect, and connect a network of pathways and passages emerge that suggests continuity. They are reminiscent of labyrinths and a continuous loop or line.
