The crosswalks on both sides of Chuy’s were painted by Raquel Assanoua. Raquel creates original whimsical resin art pieces on wood panel, elegant resin geodes of Africa, functional art trays and digital portraits.

Raquel Assanoua is a self-taught Multi-Media Artist now based in Raleigh, NC but originally from Miami, FL. She has been a creative her entire life and loved sketching portraits mostly of women and writing poetry since a young girl. She decided to start sharing and selling her art since the summer of 2017 and is looking forward to setting her mark as an artist in Raleigh and beyond.
