Kane Realty Corporation is pleased to announce construction is underway for the Walter residences at North Hills. Located at the corner of Six Forks Road and Front at North Hills St., Walter will be a 35-story mixed-use residential building making it the tallest residential building in Raleigh. The project will consist of 376 residential apartments offering a variety of living options ranging from ~600 SF studios to +2,000 SF penthouses. In addition to the residential offerings the project will include ~6,500 SF of retail and an integrated parking deck.
Amenities will include a rooftop indoor/outdoor lounge on the 35th story, a 6th level resort style pool deck with an outdoor TV lounge and kitchen overlooking North Hills and downtown Raleigh, a +3,500 SF wellness center consisting of a full service gym with locker, spa, and treatment rooms. Other amenities include a clubroom featuring a demonstration kitchen, billiards, and digital gaming, a fully equipped collaborative work center, a private dining room, a pet spa, concierge services, on-site storage, and a grand porte-cochere entry.
The apartments will be offered in a variety of sizes and price points all of which will have industry leading finishes. The units themselves will boast floor to ceiling windows, wide-plank mineral core flooring, 42” cabinets with under cabinet lighting, side by side refrigerators, quartz countertops and backsplashes, roller shades, floating bathroom vanities with backlit mirrors, tile to ceiling in showers and tubs, and wine coolers. There will also be 21 uniquely crafted penthouse residences located on Walter’s 32nd to 34th floors that will set a new standard for luxury apartments in Raleigh. Every one, two, and three bedroom penthouse floor plan will feature a den, powder room, master bathroom with a drop-in tub and separate shower, walk-in laundry room, a built-in wine refrigerator, and mechanical blinds among other signature upgraded finishes.
Walter officially broke ground on January 20th and anticipates the first residents to move in Q1 2022.
Smallwood of Atlanta, GA is the architect and Balfour Beatty Construction is the general contractor for Walter. Lionstone Investments is the equity partner and AIG Investments is providing the construction loan for Walter.
