With Thanksgiving just around the corner, now is the time to begin planning your big meal. If you’re hoping to get out of the kitchen and focus your time on celebrating with friends and family this year, North Hills is sure to have an option for you. From full blown dine-in buffets to traditional holiday dishes to go, these three North Hills spots are all serving up a stress-free Thanksgiving.
Ruth's Chris Steak House
Ruth’s Chris is open and serving up a deal you won’t want to miss this Thanksgiving. From seafood gumbo and pumpkin cheesecake, to oven-roasted turkey breast with stuffing, Ruth’s Chris is offering traditional favorites alongside hearty eats. And with a three-course meal for everyone, there’s no need to pick just one! As a matter of fact, if you have trouble deciding, Ruth’s will send you home with some Thanksgiving extras to enjoy the next day. The three-course meal is $39.95 for adults, with children’s menu items running $12.95.
If you’ve prepared at home, but need a sweet potato casserole or creamed spinach to top off the table, give Ruth’s Chris a call. They’ll be cooking up dishes that can be bought to go, some serving up to 12 people. All that they ask is that you allow at least 48 hours in advance for your order to be processed.
Mia Francesca Trattoria
Throw tradition out the window and celebrate Thanksgiving with an Italian feast. Either way, stop by Mia Francesca Trattoria to get your fill. The Italian restaurant is running a Thanksgiving Day buffet from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. From winter greens and roasted fall veggies, to hearty seafood scampi and pumpkin mini tarts, guests can eat to their heart’s content. At $46 per adult and $18 for children under 12, it’s worth it for this all-you-can-eat affair.
What’s more? If you’re unable to get the whole group out of the house, but you don’t want to cook, Mia Francesca offers Thanksgiving catering! Orders must be placed by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, and picked up on Thanksgiving Day between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. A dinner for four to five people is $98, while one for eight to ten comes in at $190. The Capital Grille
From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., The Capital Grille will be serving up tasty fare that is sure to hit the spot. For $39, guests can dine on slow-roasted turkey with brioche stuffing, French green beans with Marcona almonds and cranberry pear chutney, and a heaping helping of Sam’s mashed potatoes to share. Not to mention the pumpkin cheesecake to top it all off. Children can get a Thanksgiving dinner of their own for $15.
For those who cannot sway away from the home-cooked, family meal, you can still get a taste of Thanksgiving in North Hills at Cowfish. Their famous Gooble Gobble-ooshi roll is being served now until the Nov. 22 – they are not open Thanksgiving Day.
No matter how you choose to spend Thanksgiving this year, North Hills is here to enhance your day. We hope you’ll spend your holiday with us. Here’s to creating many fantastic memories this Thanksgiving Day!
